Meet the 2022 Interns

Greetings! We are the Unrestricted Interns for summer 2022!

After an exciting and nerve-wracking interview process, five interns were selected to spend the summer developing key skills and core passions at Against. We look forward to breaking boundaries and learning how to produce work with a rebellious mindset. Although brand new, we found ourselves immediately moved and excited by the principles that Against operates by.

How can we challenge our mindsets? What questions can we ask to understand the true purpose? Who is the customer that is being catered to and why? How do we explore and expand the quest for creativity? How can we make decisions while retaining intention and core values?

These questions guide us as we embark on this exciting journey. Although we come from different backgrounds and skill sets, we are dedicated to inclusivity and collaboration in order to contribute ideas together that are relevant, stirring, and brave.

STAY CURIOUS

I was immediately drawn to the principle “stay curious” because it is a concept that challenges you to reject complacency and seek ideas and inspiration relentlessly. Some of the greatest inventions and questions come from the ability to stay curious and ask yourself and others: “What If?”.
