The C-Word

We need to talk about the c-word. It's ruthless. It's scary. It sucks. And it affects everyone. Cancer.

I know, I know... you were just browsing with your choice of caffeine (shout out to my PSL lovers), looking for a happy distraction and the last thing you want to read about is cancer. Fair. So, we'll go ahead and skip over the stats like 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and trans women have double the risk compared to cis men.

Instead, let's take this conversation into our own hands. Literally. Check your boobs at least once a month.

At Against, there is no shortage of passion. You should see us debate our favorite candy (Sorry Jennie, but black licorice?...just no.). However, something we can all rally around is giving cancer the middle finger (🖕) and we wanted to do something about it. So, with breast cancer being the most common and October being one of our favorite months, we partnered up with the amazing, local nonprofit Tit for Tat.
